EFR posted about the fire on their Facebook page which we shared:

EFR responded to a house fire yesterday about 4pm in the 29000 block of Spruce Rd. The large home was engulfed in flames and took 25 firefighters about 40 minutes to get it under control along with 3 fire trucks. No one was home and no one got hurt. Unfortunately the house had significant damage. Red Cross was requested for the homeowners.

And the sister of the homeowner replied in the comments that her sister's dog and cat perished in the fire and they lost all the contents in their home. There's a GoFundMe set up to help them out, if you would like to contribute. www.gofundme.com/bjra755t

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
