Emergency personnel and CDOT will be closing Highway 285 as soon as they complete closing I-25. I-70 is already closed from Morrison to Idaho Springs .

Due to pending road closures in the Foothills area, the following three locations have been opened as shelters for stranded motorists:

Wal-Mart at El Rancho
Wal-Mart at C-470 and Bowles
King Soopers at Aspen Park
