Half Marathon
The REVEL Rockies Half Marathon course offers the best of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, including towering pines, beautiful canyons, mountain lakes, and a gently flowing stream. This downhill paved course may be the fastest and most beautiful you ever run!

The Half Marathon begins at the intersection of Lewis Ridge Road and Evergreen Parkway in the beautiful community of Evergreen. The first three miles of the course include broad views of the valley and Elk Meadow Park as runners head off into the sunrise. The course leaves Evergreen Parkway at Douglas Park Road, eventually turning into Meadow Drive.

From Meadow Drive the course connects onto Bear Creek Road and follows the creek straight downhill all the way to mile 13 at the entrance to the town of Morrison. This portion of the course offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the West, including stunning rock formations, humming streams, and beautiful foliage.

Upon reaching Morrison the course passes the entrance to the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheater before turning south on Highway 8 and finishing at the entrance of Morrison Park.

Runners should make sure to train appropriately for this course as downhill running works muscles differently than flat or uphill running.
