Smoke Check North Fork District, Butterfield Ranch area

Elk Creek Fire originally toned out to investigate a smoke call near Stonecrop Trail. After looking, they believe it is in North Fork's district in the Butterfield Ranch area. There may be some mitigation work being done in the area, North Fork is en route to investigate.

Crews are heading to Resort Creek Rd to access a trail that will get them in the area of the smoke call.

Fire crews are standing down, no fire located. Will contact Reporting Party. All units clear.
