40+ responders from multiple agencies looking for lost hiker who went missing about 6:45pm in Genessee Park between 70-Hwy 6.

That wind is blowing out there I hope they had a good coat with them this time of year.

Good news - contact has been made with lost hiker. Working on getting her out safely.

Crews used thermal imaging to pinpoint location of hiker; still in verbal contact and working on getting her off trail.

Hiker is safe and being transported to hospital with minor injuries. All crews safely off the trail. This is last PIO update.
