Great team work today from the 30+ firefighters and 7 fire trucks from EFR and @FoothillsFire. We got quick jump on the 1/2 acre wildland fire. Cause: ashes improperly disposed from a fireplace. Please be careful as the conditions are just right for a serious wildland fire. Thank you Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for helping to get the homeowners out safely and blocking the road for emergency vehicles.
