Clear Creek County Stage 2 Fire Ban as of March 14, 2017

Effective at 12:00 p.m., today, March 14, 2017, a Stage 2 Fire Ban will go into effect for Clear Creek County. Fire ban restrictions under a Stage 2 ban are attached for your review. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Fire Ban Lifted

Sheriff Albers has lifted the Fire Ban for the unincorporated areas of Clear Creek County. Clear Creek County will no longer have any fire restrictions as of 4/04/2017 at 12:00pm.

The Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office has assessed the conditions of Clear Creek County and determined that no fire restrictions are needed at this time.

We will continue to monitor conditions and place restrictions as they are needed. We continue to ask the public to continue to use caution when dealing with open fires.

Residents and visitors are reminded to ensure that any fire is completely out prior to leaving a fire site unattended.
