– Estimate still 30-50 acres; belief is closer to 50. Aircraft is flying the fire now for aerial mapping.
– 8 aircraft ordered and in route; 1 SEAT (Ft Collins), 1 heavy air tanker (JeffCo), 2 Chinook (National Guard), 2 Blackhawk (Nat’l Guard), 1 Lead, 1 MMA. Bucket drop target start is at 0830.
– Public Call Center line is now open for non-emergency calls. 303-413-7730.
– No reports of loss of property, structures, or of any injuries.
– Boulder Canyon closure at 9th Street westbound
– Eldora Ski Resort pass holders should avoid 119 today and take alternate routes
– Betasso Preserve & Bald Mountain Open Spaces are closed to the pub

#SunshineFire fire has grown to 106 acres with zero containment as of 11 a.m. No homes or structures have burned. Extra strike crews are on the way to provide structure support in areas adjacent to the active fire area.
