Hwy 285 Closed in Bailey due to serious accident - now open

Per cosmiccowboy55: Semi vs motorcycle on Hwy 285 in Bailey across from the Knotty Pine, both vehicles are in the river. Hwy 285 will be closed, helicopter en route, ETA in 15 minutes.

Electrical lines down, IREA has been notified.

Swift water rescue teams requested.

Helicopter is 3 minutes out, landing at Platte Canyon Fire up on Crow Hill. Ambulance meeting them.

Hazmat team requested.

Helicopter is off the ground and headed to St. Anthony's, per cosmiccowboy55.

The highway is re-opened. Please be careful of emergency vehicles still on scene.
