Small brush fire off Quandary Peak Trail - Cochise Fire

Firefighters are receiving significant rain and lightning at the fire so they are pulling back to lower ground for safety.

The storm has passed so firefighters are heading back on scene.

The Cochise Fire is 100% contained. Thanks to the help from the Pike NF Station 11, North Fork Fire, DFPC, and Platte Canyon Fire. Crews will be returning to check on the fire for the next week.
