Clear Creek County Sheriff: Carry Proof of Residency for Winter Road Closures

From the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office:
Winter Road Closure Alert for Clear Creek County residents: Help us help you! We are asking all our county residents to carry a Colorado driver’s license showing their local home address with them at all times in their vehicles this winter. If your ID shows an older past address, a piece of mail with your name and address will do. During safety closures of the highways, we have officers filtering through traffic at the road blocks to allow locals through to their homes. If you have quickly available proof of residency this process will be easier and more efficient since we have CSP and CDOT workers out working the closure too who may not know all the local faces. We know there were issues with the last closure and we are working to improve our process. This will help us to do that! Please share and tell your friends and family!
