Traction and Chain Laws in Effect 2.22.18

TRACTION LAW- EB/WB I-70 between Silverthorne and Tunnel. Passenger vehicles are required to have snow or mud/snow tires, use chains/alternative traction devices or be a 4WD/AWD vehicle.

CO 9 Hoosier Pass chains required all CMV. Chains, snow tires or 4wd required all passenger vehicles. MM 101 to 135.

I-70 Traction law lifted at MM 205-213 Silverthorne to Eisenhower Tunnel.

Passenger vehicle traction law and Chain law have been lifted southbound Hwy 9 Hoosier Pass. Chain law only has been lifted northbound Hwy 9 Hoosier Pass.
