Be advise you may see smoke from slash pile burns the US Forest Service is doing today off of Vigilante Ave in Deer Creek Valley Ranchos subdivision in Bailey. A smoke check was called in a bit ago from Kings Valley in Conifer looking that direction and Elk Creek Fire confirmed it was from those slash piles.
As always, if you see smoke and are unsure if it's from these burns, please call it into 911 anyway - the fire departments would rather check on a possible false alarm/confirm a known fire than not catch a new fire as early as possible. Thank you!
