Per Denver Channel 7:
U.S. Forest Service officials tell us this wildfire is possibly between 5 to 20 acres in size. Fire is in the Pueblo dispatch zone.

According to Red Alert. Level 1 and 2 evac notifications are still in place. Sent at 4:51. Water tenders are being requested. Helicopter has now ceased working.

Wild Land Fire Harris Park Shooting Range - US Forest Service Land

This is an emergency notification to advise residents within one half (1/2) mile of the intersection at Camp Creek Road and Park County Road 43 that there is a full evacuation. Evacuations are mandatory and entry to evacuated areas may be denied. Residents are encouraged to evacuate as soon as possible. You might need time to gather necessary items, but do so at your own risk.

Neal Road is closed to every one but residents.

From Platte Canyon Fire:
Harris Park Shooting range fire update.

Firefighters on the ground are reporting Two fires. 1 Fire is approx 1/4 acre (contained). Other fire is estimated at around 20 acres f(uncontained but crews are working to try and contain it.). Fires are on Forest Service Land. Platte Canyon Fire engines and Fire Module obscene as well as Forest Service and Help from Elk creek fire and North Fork Fire.

Resources: Forest Service and multiple cooperative resources on site, Aviation resources ordered, 2 SEATs, 1 Air Attack and 1 Air Tanker, USFS Monument Type 3 helicopter. 2 engines, and 20 person hand crew.

Structures Threatened: Yes
Evacuation: Park County Sheriff ordered evacuation within 1/2 mile of the fire. Public within 1 mile are asked to be prepared to evacuate.

Cause: Under investigation
