Planned Closure Hwy 285 NB from Hwy 8 to C470 on Sunday Sept 16 at 7am

From CDOT:
US 285 Northbound Morrison Rd to C-470 (Milemarker 248-250)
Will be closed Sunday 9/16/18/ starting at 7 am for police activity. No ETA for reopening.

Per Jeffco Sheriff's Office, this is for an accident reconstruction and will most likely involve only one lane but that could change.

Is it known if we'll be able to exit 285 at Morrison Rd?

Good question! The CDOT alert didn't say that Morrison would be affected in any way for a closure so most likely, yes, it will be used as a detour/alternate route if need be.

Heads up- we just came down and this is going on this morning too. Very quickly drops down to one lane and then eventually both lanes with traffic moving onto the shoulder lane. Not much warning, no sign, just drops to one lane
