Passenger vehicle traction law
I-70 Westbound / Eastbound between Silverthorne and Bakerville (Milemarker 205-228)

US 6 Westbound / Eastbound Loveland Pass (Milemarker 220-229)

Passenger vehicles are required to have snow or mud/snow tires, use chains/alternative traction devices, or be a 4WD/AWD vehicle.

Commercial vehicle chain law
US 285 in both directions between FS Rd 56 and MM 208 (Kenosha Pass).

CO 9 SB between MM 80 and County Road 4 (Hoosier Pass).

US 6 between MM 220 and MM 229 (Loveland Pass).

Chains or alternative traction devices required for all commercial motor vehicles including buses and vans of 16 or more passenger capacity.

CLOSED
US 24 Westbound / Eastbound Camp Hale Milemarker 144-172, between Minturn Rd (Minturn) and Jacktown Rd (1 mile west of the Leadville area).
Hwy closed due to accident

I-70 Westbound Vail Pass Summit (Milemarker 190-190)
Closed due to accident. There is no estimated time of reopening.

All Passenger vehicle traction law, Commercial vehicle chain law and road closures lifted; however, I-70 Westbound Morrison (Milemarker 259-259), the Left and center lanes are now blocked due to outside agency activity expect delays.
