WB closed for safety at Empire / Berthoud Pass Jct mm 232
EB closed for crashes at Frisco mm 203 Copper Mtn mm 105 & Vail mm 176

Conditions are brutal up on top of he world.

PASSENGER VEHICLE TRACTION LAW
- I-70 Westbound / Eastbound between Silverthorne and Bakerville (Milemarker 205-221)
- US 6 Westbound / Eastbound Loveland Pass (Milemarker 220-229)
- CO 9 Southbound / Northbound Hoosier Pass (Milemarker 73-80)

Passenger vehicles are required to have snow or mud/snow tires, use chains/alternative traction devices, or be a 4WD/AWD vehicle.

Passenger Vehicle Traction Law and Commercial Vehicle Chain Law
US 285 Southbound / Northbound Kenosha Pass Area (Milemarker 183-208)

Passenger vehicles are required to have snow or mud/snow tires, use chains/alternative traction devices or be a 4WD/AWD vehicle.

Chains or alternative traction devices (ATDs) required for all CMV, including buses and vans of 16+ capacity.

So...not good news to report...EB I-70 at Silverthorne is currently closed due to about 15 spun out vehicles at mile point 211 (six miles east of Silverthorne). Crews are out there doing there best to get the vehicles cleared but this is going to take a while

US 285: Passenger vehicle chain law between FS Rd 56 and Frontage Rd. All passenger vehicles must use chains or alternative traction devices.

US 285: Commercial vehicle chain law between FS Rd 56 and Frontage Rd. Chains or alternative traction devices required for all commercial motor vehicles including buses and vans of 16 or more passengers.

Passenger Vehicle Traction Law in effect
US 285 Southbound / Northbound US285 203-215 (Milemarker 203-215)
(Stretch from Fairplay to Kenosha - Milemarker 183-208 - remains in effect)
