Passenger Vehicle Traction Law & Commercial Chain Law in effect
CO 9 between County Road 4 (near Hoosier Pass) and Riverpark Dr (Breckenridge).

Passenger vehicles are required to have mud or snow tires or use chains or alternative traction devices or be a four wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle.

Chains or alternative traction devices required for all commercial motor vehicles including buses and vans of 16 or more passengers.

US 6 in both directions between MM 220 and MM 229 (Loveland Pass).

Passenger & commercial traction and chain laws lifted for CO 9, US 6 chain law lifted.

Passenger traction law remains in effect for US 6, plus I-70 Westbound / Eastbound between Silverthorne and Bakerville (Milemarker 205-221).
