Fire knocked down, overhaul operations underway

Update
Crews remain on scene defensive fire attack underway. Additional resources from North Fork Fire Protection have been requested.

Per cosmiccowboy55: They are having to ferry water in so be extra careful on Mt Evens and the Pine junction area of 285

Final update
Our crews fought strong and hard along with with Elk Creek Fire Department and North Fork Fire Rescue personnel. Thankfully no firefighter injuries reported. Cause of fire is under investigation.
