...MORE SNOW HEADED FOR THE MOUNTAINS...

.A moist Pacific storm system will move into the northern mountains of Colorado, bringing snow and hazardous winter travel conditions tonight and Friday. The snow will first increase in the mountains around Rabbit Ears Pass late this afternoon and evening, and will be heavy at times through Friday. In the Front Range mountains from Rocky Mountain National Park southward through the I-70 Corridor, snow will become widespread this evening, with a period of more substantial snow late tonight into Friday morning. Travel conditions will deteriorate overnight and remain hazardous through Friday. People planning to travel in the Colorado high country should be prepared for slick roads, slow travel, and reduced visibilities in snow and blowing snow. Travel delays and restrictions over the higher mountains are likely.
