Winter Weather Advisory per Meteorologist Steve Hamilton
Winter Weather Advisory Wednesday - Fairplay, Como, Jefferson, Alma...
Cold air and high pressure will enter Colorado from the north on Wednesday. We'll likely see some snow showers in the mountains, and also in the higher foothills, where a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect. Some accumulating snow is expected in the Fairplay, Jefferson/Como and Alma areas. Elsewhere, fair but gusty and chilly. A cold front will move into the Front Range on Thursday, with a brief shot of upslope, and colder air. We could see a few snow showers throughout the foothills with minor accumulation late Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
