-I-70 Westbound / Eastbound between Vail and Bakerville (Milemarker 178-221

Passenger vehicles are required to have snow or mud/snow tires, use chains/alternative traction devices or be a 4WD/AWD vehicle.

Commercial vehicle chain law
-US 285 in both directions between MM 199 and MM 208 (Kenosha Pass).
-CO 9 Southbound / Northbound Hoosier Pass (Milemarker 86-73)
-I-70 Eastbound Silverthorne to Eisenhower Tunnel (Milemarker 205-213
-I-70 Eastbound Vail to Vail Pass Summit (Milemarker 178-190)

Chains or alternative traction devices required for all commercial motor vehicles including buses and vans of 16 or more passenger capacity.

US 6 EB/WB: Road closed between MM 220 and MM 229. Due to avalanche reduction

Per CSP 1hr ago:
Fire out. Crew clearing now. Avoid area for the immediate time. One lane getting through now. But recovery of semi will take a while.


CDOT
I-70 EB: Road open between Exit 256 - Lookout Mtn and Exit 259 - Golden. Right lane closed for semi cleanup. Traffic delays in area.

I-70 Eastbound Silverthorne to Eisenhower Tunnel (Milemarker 205-213)

Road Open
US 6 in both directions between MM 220 and MM 229 (Loveland Pass). Road is open to all traffic. Passenger vehicle traction law & Commercial vehicle chain law now in effect.
