Pile Burning in Bailey and the Pike National Forest February 19

From Platte Canyon Fire Protection District:

The Platte Canyon Wildfire Module will be burning piles at 401 Stagecoach in the Deer Creek Valley Ranchos today February 19th beginning at 0900. Smoke will be visible throughout the day.


From North Fork Fire Rescue:

The USFS will be burning slash piles in the area of Forest Service Road 550 and County Road 126 in Buffalo Creek on 2/19/19. Smoke will be visible.


From @PSICC:

The US Forest Service, Pike National Forest, South Platte Ranger District is planning on starting ignitions tomorrow morning burning piles on the Little Morrison Unit depending on conditions.

Please see attached map for exact location of unit.

Test fire should start around 1000 hrs.

Smoke maybe visible throughout the day in the area.
