Passenger vehicle traction law and Commercial vehicle chain law
- US 285 in both directions between County Road 35 and MM 208 (Kenosha Pass).
- CO 9 Southbound / Northbound Hoosier Pass (Milemarker 73-86)
Chains or alternative traction devices required for all commercial motor vehicles including buses and vans of 16 or more passenger capacity. Passenger vehicles are required to have mud or snow tires or use chains or alternative traction devices or be a four wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle.

Road open
US 6 in both directions between MM 220 and MM 229 (Loveland Pass). Road is open to all traffic following avalanche reduction.

Passenger vehicle traction and CMV chain law in effect for US 6 both directions between MM 220 and MM 229 (Loveland Pass).
Commercial vehicles and buses require chain or alternative traction devices and passenger vehicles require snow tires or chains or AWD.

COMMERCIAL VEHICLE CHAIN LAW LIFTED
US 285 Southbound / Northbound Kenosha (Milemarker 198-208)
Commercial Vehicle Chain Law lifted. Passenger Vehicle Traction Law still in effect.

CO 9 NB/SB: Passenger vehicle and Commercial vehicle chain law lifted between MM 73 and MM 80.

Also, the passenger traction law for US 285 is no longer in effect.
