Accident Hwy 285 NB in Turkey Creek Canyon

Per eyewitnesses, a car has gone off the road into the creek below on Hwy 285 past Parmalee Gulch Rd. NB being shut down to recover the vehicle, alternate route advised.

Chopper is landing to take patient to the hospital, they hope to re-open the highway in approximately 15 minutes.

Chopper is on the way, highway hopefully re-opening soon.

Two people injured, one seriously, after their vehicle went off Highway 285, sliding about 100 feet into a ditch. Our technical rescue team pulled them out, one person was taken to the hospital by Flight for Life. Morrison PD investigating the crash- about 3 miles west of 470.
