US 285 in both directions between MM 229 (Pine Junction) and MM 250 (near Lakewood).

Passenger vehicles are required to have mud or snow tires or use chains or alternative traction devices or be a four wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle.

Chains or alternative traction devices required for all commercial motor vehicles including buses and vans of 16 or more passenger capacity.

Highway 285 is still closed southbound at Parmalee Gulch due to an accident. Northbound lanes are open.

All traction and chain laws have been lifted, Hwy 285 at Parmalee Gulch is fully re-opened. Adverse weather remains over CO 9 Hoosier Pass.
