I tried to register with CodeRed using our address on S Baird and got a message stating that my location was outside the service area (or something like that).

That's odd, as CodeRED is used for both Jeffco and Park County emergency notifications. Maybe here's a difference between the links for Park County and Jeffco? Here's the Jeffco page, if you want to try that one: www.jeffco.us/473/Emergency-Notifications
