From USFS Pike National Forest, South Platte Ranger District:
Elk Creek Fire Department will be conducting a wild land fire field day exercise this weekend, May 18 and 19, in the area of the Spring Creek Ranch on Highway 126 in Jefferson County. They will have many fire vehicles and personnel working in the area for the exercise.
