Motorcycle accident Hwy 74 near Idledale, female rider reported to have hit the guardrail and gone into the river. First responders have arrived on scene and are reporting they are still in the water.

Update: incident at Milepost 15, waiting on fire crews to arrive in order to do a water rescue.

The rider has been pulled out of the river.

Edit to update: The rider was pulled out on the opposite bank, she is unable to walk. Awaiting swift water rescue to get her across. Rescue 581 is on scene.

Hwy 74 closed both directions, please take an alternate route. Alpine Search & Rescue called in to assist with the rescue, per James Richardson.

Edit to update from James Richardson: Alpine Rescue canceled, West Metro sending a full tech rescue response.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Hwy 74 shut down between Morrison and Idledale. We’re asssiting @CSP_Golden with a motorcycle crash with serious injuries. Unknown ETA for opening. Please MOVE OVER. 1 ambulance was hit by a passing car, fortunately no injuries #JeffCo
