Nightly closures of Downtown Evergreen the Week of August 19th

An important message from Evergreen Metro District:
Downtown Evergreen will be closed from the intersection of Hwy 73/74 to Douglas Park Road the week of August 19th from 9:00pm to 5:00am to repair the water main. They do not anticipate this affecting nearby residences, but you may see dirty water running from your taps. If this occurs, please run the cold water until it is clear again.

They will be closing single lanes on the evening of August 18th for preliminary work.

An update from Mr. Rosenberg at Evergreen Metropolitan District on the water main repairs through Downtown Evergreen:
"We worked the last 4 nights, going to work again tonight, but not Friday. We'll start again on Monday; we are making progress, but it's slow."

Evergreen Metro District had to postpone the Downtown water main repair project until next Tuesday September 3 due to a mechanical failure of the valve installation equipment. Crews will be closing main street between Douglas Park Road and the intersection of Highway 74 & 73 beginning Tuesday night September 3 2019 between the hours of 9:00 pm to 5:00 am. We are sorry that we had to delay the project this week we are hoping to have this completed next Thursday September 6. Thank you for your patience.

Evergreen Metro District will be closing downtown Evergreen and performing night work in starting tonight September 3rd from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am. Crews will be working to September 5th for water main repairs. The closure will be between Highway 73 & 74 Intersection to Douglas Park Road.
