Wildland fire in Downieville, Clear Creek County

Clear Creek Fire has requested mutual aid, personnel only, from Evergreen Fire for a wildland fire in Clear Creek County. Crews are staging at I-70, MM234. Foothills Fire and Central City Fire also en route to assist.

A CodeRED has been sent to residents in the Mill Creek area, no evacuations at this time.

The fire is out. The USFS has arrived on scene, once they hike in and reach the fire, Clear Creek will turn over command to them.
