Fire reported in the Harris Park Gun Range

Per cosmiccowboy55: fire reported Harris Park Gun Range, Platte Canyon Fire en route. Shelton Dr is down to one lane.

Per cosmiccowboy55: confirmed 1/4 acre fire. Shooter still firing LEOs called as well as USFS.

Per James Richardson: Fire Department reports contained, knocking hot spots.

Platte Canyon responded to a wildland fire at the Harris Park shooting range.
Thanks to the responsible gun owners that remained on scene and suppressed the fire and took responsibility for their actions.
Platte Canyon Fire and USFS Mod 11 held the fire to 1/4 acre.
Please continue to be vigilant over the next couple of days as the fire danger will remain extremely high.
