...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THURSDAY...

.Increased winds combined with very low relative humidity levels will be present across the northern and southern foothills, high mountain valleys and across the Palmer Divide for Thursday afternoon and evening. If conditions become more favorable the Fire Weather Watch will be upgraded to a Red Flag Warning.

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FOOTHILLS, HIGH MOUNTAIN VALLEYS AND PALMER DIVIDE...

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Fire Weather Watch FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY, which is in effect from Thursday morning through Thursday evening.

* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zones 211...213...214...215...216 and 241.

* Winds...Southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Timing...Thursday afternoon through the early evening hours

* Relative Humidity...As low as 10 percent.

* Impacts...Conditions could be favorable for rapid ignition, growth and spread of fire.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings.
