My Mountain Town Weather Update from Chief Meteorologist Steve Hamilton:
**WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY UNTIL 6AM THURS**
Freezing drizzle is expected to fall in most of the foothills, and into the Denver area during the overnight hours.
Ice accumulation up to 1/10th of an inch is possible, which may cause slick road conditions.

Hazardous travel conditions are possible, especially over bridges and overpasses. Sidewalks may also be slick. Main highways may get some icing after midnight and into the early morning hours.

Please use caution if traveling.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM MST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Freezing drizzle expected. Total ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central and northeast Colorado.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 AM MST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel conditions are possible. Bridges, overpasses, and sidewalks will be most susceptible to icing and hazardous conditions by mid to late evening, and then main roads may begin to ice up overnight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Bridges and overpasses will be especially susceptible to icy conditions. Pedestrians should also remain alert for possible icy sidewalks and driveways. Take the grass if icy conditions exist.
