The National Weather Service has posted a High Wind Warning for much of the foothills. This will be in effect until Noon Tuesday. Wind speeds of 25 to 40 mph will be common, with gusts of 50 to 75 mph possible in the highlighted area on the map.
Travel will be hazardous for high profile vehicles, along with the usual risks of damage to trees and outdoor property.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Travel will be difficult for high profile vehicles.
