Platte Canyon crews are responding to a report of a wildland fire off of County rd 68/east of Bailey.
Please avoid the area

Update 4:48pm
Per command this will be called the
"68 Fire"
Approx 1/2 acre in size.
Platte Canyon and #USFS_PikeSanIsab crews to handle fire attack operations at this time.

Update 2 @ 5:02
Fire is confirmed to be on #USFS_PikeSanIsab land they will assume command. Platte Canyon crews will remain on scene along with #USFS_PikeSanIsab crews.
Again, Fire size is estimated to be 1/2 to 3/4 of an acre.
Fire containment estimated to be within the hour.

Location: Park County, South Platte Ranger District, 1.5 miles south of  Bailey, CO.
Jurisdiction: USFS, CO.
Resources: Forest Service Engine and one squad
Containment:100% 10:30 am,  5/05
Controlled:  9:03 am, 5/06 
Structures Threatened: N\A
Evacuation: N\A
Closures: none
Cause: Human,
Fuels: Ponderosa Pine, Grass
