The previous Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

From Chief Meteorologist Steve Hamilton: Red Flag Warning Thursday...
A strong frontal system will move across Colorado on Thursday, with high pressure behind it. That will cause a steep air pressure gradient, along with dry air coming into the foothills. Unfortunately, we won't be getting any rain from this system.

The National Weather Service in Boulder has issued a Red Flag Warning from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. Conditions will be favorable for the rapid spread of fire throughout the foothills, and also along the Palmer Divide. Relative humidity values will be as low as 9%. Wind gusts of 30-40 mph are possible. This is a dangerous setup for fire. Wind will continue Thursday night, before calming down on Friday.
