Wildland fire in Aspen Park across from King Soopers

Fire reported in Aspen Park across the highway from King Soopers, confirmed by Elk Creek Fire that it's mostly in rock outcropping. Elk Creek Fire is hiking in per cosmiccowboy55.

Fire name is #RenaudFire , it is 1/4 of an acre in size, 1/2 mile south of Aspen Park, rocky terrain with snags, 45 degree slope, no additional resources needed.

Elk Creek Fire is currently working a small wildland fire (Renaud Fire, less than 1/4 acre). It is located on a ridge approximately 1/4 mile south of Aspen Park. Currently no structures are threatened and no evacuations are in place.

Smoke may still be visible because of the heavy logs still burning out in the interior/ inside the fire line. Crews are currently mopping up.

Most of the crew has been released from the #RenaudFire. Some firefighters remain to monitor this small amount of still-burning heavy fuel.
