From Chief Meteorologist Steve Hamilton:
My Mountain Town Weather...
Potentially heavy rainfall this afternoon...
Moist air is coming into the foothills from the northeast, and we'll see showers and thunderstorms developing into this evening.
Localized heavy rainfall could accompany a few of these storms, causing flash flooding. If you're in a flood-prone area, or near a creek or stream, please keep in mind that flash flooding is possible.
