Evergreen Metro District: Level 3 drought restrictions imminent

From Evergreen Metropolitan District:

ATTENTION:
Due to decreasing stream flows and a forecast of below average precipitation, the chances of Evergreen Metro declaring Level 3 drought restrictions is imminent. This means a ban on ALL OUTDOOR WATERING FOR IRRIGATION PURPOSES. In preparation for this we encourage all customers to identify the location of their sprinkler controls and how to shut them off. It is also highly recommended that customers confirm their indoor fixtures (toilets, hot water heaters, faucets) are functioning correctly and free of leaks. There will be no consumption credits due to leak events issued in a Level 3 drought restriction status. (Please see below for a helpful guide to check your home for leaks.)

EMD is currently under a Level 2 Drought

Drought update:
As of August 14, 2020 the 7 day average streamflow in Bear Creek was 7.0 CFS. The Level 2 Drought restrictions are still in effect.
A Level 2 Drought means mandatory cutbacks in outside watering to no more than three days per week. Please see this graphic for more information on specifics and fees associated with a Level 2 Drought.
