My Mountain Town Weather: The 2020 Legacy Continues!

Winter Storm Watch late Monday night through late Tuesday night for the mountains, foothills, Denver metro area and parts of eastern CO. Blue shaded area, and purple areas are included. The red area is a Red Flag Warning. Yeah, unfortunately it's a bit confusing. A powerful cold front and low pressure system are forecast to dive southward, taking us from summer to winter conditions. NWS is forecasting 3 to 6" for the Denver metro, 6 to 14" in the higher mountains, and somewhere in between that for our My Mountain Towns. Details on totals are forthcoming when models are run this afternoon. Stay tuned. In the meantime, spend a few minutes looking for your snow boots, gloves, hats and winter coats. (In Colorado, it is still okay to wear cargo shorts in the snow.)
