Evergreen Fire responding to reported structure fire in the 31000 block of Upper Bear Creek Rd. Reporting party states everyone has evacuated. Structure is fully involved.

From Evergreen Fire Rescue:

EFR quickly extinguished a house fire on Upper Bear Creek. Homeowners were able to evacuate but the home had significant damage. There was no extension to the surrounding trees or homes. Please avoid the 31000-32000 area of Upper Bear Creek Rd.

A fire investigator has been requested to determine the cause of the fire.

Update on fire on Upper Bear Creek Rd. All residents safe but major damage to the duplex. 25 firefighters/8 fire trucks protected the nearby homes/forest. Fire is under investigation. TY @jeffcosheriffco, @IndianHillsFire, @FireFoothills and @XcelEnergyCO for the assistance!

My parents live a few houses down towards the lake. Saw all of the trucks go by. Reminded them on July 13 and 14.
