The #MorrisonRoadFire has been determined to be human-caused, but it’s not known if it was accidental or intentional. Anyone with information, can contact West Metro at (303) 539-9531. This video shows what the fire looked like earlier today, driven by the wind.

Colo 8 / Morrison Road closures being adjusted. Both directions will remain closed between Colo 470 and Bear Creek Blvd to support @WestMetroFire and @LakewoodPDCO.

UPDATE: Multi-mission aircraft (MMA)flight over the #MorrisonRoadFire (also known as the #BearCreekFire) has the fire at 446 acres tonight. This video shows what it was like on the ground this afternoon. Fire size could be adjusted when crews get a better look after sunrise.

The evacuation order has been lifted for the #MorrisonRoadFire, and residents can go back home, but they will still be under pre-evacuation standby until 7 am tomorrow. The fire is 100% contained. Crews will be patrolling overnight, checking for hotspots inside the perimeter.
