Elk Creek Fire is responding to a reported accident on Shadow Mountain Dr. at Sunlight Ln. in Conifer.

Passenger vehicle traction law is in effect for Hwy 285 between Pine Junction and C-470 (MM 229 to 250).

Eyewitness:

North bound 285 has one accident right by Sourdough, cops blocking right lane.
Then another accident right before twin forks, 2 fire trucks and ambulance blacking right lane.

Twin Forks is located at the exit for N Turkey Creek, mile marker 244. Sourdough Ln is around MM 242/243.

LE asks dispatch to notify Park County Road and Bridge that CR 43 is getting extremely slick about 2 miles up from Hwy 285 and they should send some plow/sand trucks to hit it or there will be accidents.
