Safety Closure

• I-70 Eastbound Silverthorne (Milemarker 205). Crash east of Silverthorne.
• I-70 Eastbound Eisenhower Tunnel (Milemarker 213.5) Crash east of Tunnel.
• I-70 Eastbound Exit to US 6, Clear Creek Canyon (Milemarker 244). Closed due to crash. Local detour in place.
• I-70 Eastbound East side Floyd Hill (Milemarker 249). Multi-vehicle crash and spinouts.

Passenger Vehicle Traction Law
I-70 Westbound / Eastbound between Idaho Springs and Denver/C-470 (Milemarker 241-259)
Passenger vehicles are required to have snow or mud/snow tires, use chains/alternative traction devices, or be a 4WD/AWD vehicle.

Commercial Vehicle Chain Law
I-70 Westbound / Eastbound Mt. Vernon Canyon (Milemarker 250-259)
Chains or alternative traction devices (ATDs) required for all CMV, including buses and vans of 16+ capacity.

US 6 Westbound / Eastbound Loveland Pass (Milemarker 222-228.7)
Safety concerns. Hazmat vehicles use Eisenhower Tunnel at top of hour or as traffic allows, other traffic held. Delays.

Passenger vehicle traction law
US 285 in both directions between Willard St (near Kenosha Pass) and MM 229 (Pine Junction).

Scanner: they hope to re-open I-70 EB at MM 244 around 8:30pm.

I-70 WB at MM 259/US40 opening now, I-70 EB at MM244 in about half an hour.

Per cosmiccowboy55: multi-vehicle accident Hwy 285 at MM 207 (Kenosha Pass). Semi jack-knifed, vehicles reported over the embankment, multiple slide-offs. At least 2 ambulances dispatched.

I-70 Eastbound Dotsero (Milemarker 133)
All CMV must stage in Dotsero parking area. EB I-70 closed at Silverthorne.

I-70 EB at MM 244 is now re-opened, as is I-70 EB at MM 205 (Silverthorne), I-70 EB Dotsero (Milemarker 133), and US 6 EB at MM 222 (Loveland Pass). All road closures lifted.
