US 285 NB: Road closed between Parmalee Gulch Rd and CO 8. Due to crash.

Scanner: may have to push the closure back, but for now they are closing the highway northbound at Parmalee.

Per eyewitnesses, it's an overturned semi.

US 285 Closed Northbound just before Morrison, MP 248.

Passenger vehs use Parmalee or Jeffco 73. CMV find a place to wait it out. We are assisting Morrison PD.

LE is now closing SB Hwy 285 at Hwy 8 so they can turn cars around who are sitting NB in Turkey Creek Canyon.

BREAKING - TRAFFIC ALERT

Southbound Highway 285 is opening up right now.

Please continue to use alternate routes and avoid the Northbound side of Highway 285 at Mile Marker 248 if you’re headed to Denver.

Crews are still working the fatal accident.

Our crews on scene of a fatal crash on Highway 285 near Highway 8. A semi truck rolled over, separating the cab from the tank. The cab went down a steep incline and the driver was ejected. The accident is under investigation.

CSP is on accident alert in Jeffco due to multiple crashes (Turkey Creek Canyon and another fatal accident on US 6 between CO 119 and CO 58).

Crews estimate another 3 hours for Hwy 285 NB to remain closed.

A single lane has reopened for Northbound Highway 285 toward Denver from Morrison.

All lanes for Southbound 285 are still open.
