Good Morning. Today, June 23, most of Park County has gone into a burn ban on private lands. This ban DOES NOT include Forest Service. Park County does require a burn permit for any outside burning on private property. If you do not have one, then please contact your Local Fire Protection District to obtain one and to learn of any burn restrictions in your district. Lake George is presently under the ban. We will notify you when this status changes. Thank you for your cooperation.
