JCSO: Speed enforcement along Hwy 285 from Morrison-ParkCo July 23

On Friday, July 23rd, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office will be participating in a speed enforcement and aggressive driving saturation along Highway 285 from Morrison to Park County. Highway 285 has a high volume of traffic and some drivers use excessive speed and other aggressive driving behaviors to shorten their travel times. Colorado State Patrol has identified 285 as a problem road for speed and accidents for several years. Let this be a reminder for everyone to drive in a courteous and safe manner.
