Accident Pine Valley Rd near Ouray Rd, Pine Valley Rd Re-Opened

Per cosmiscowboy55: accident on Pine Valley Rd near Ouray Rd has the road closed both directions. Elk Creek Fire has responded, and is requesting mutual aid from North Fork Fire to block traffic heading northbound on Pine Valley Rd.

They are working to contain fuel spill and assessing one patient, no other hazards to report at this time.

Roadway is re-opened, patient has refused transport, all units clearing the scene. Command terminated.

Please be on the lookout for a Red Healer dog, name “Buddy”, 3 yrs old, who went missing after the auto accident. He should have a collar with owner contact.

We love happy endings! Thanks to this community, Buddy, who was involved in a significant rollover accident on 126 last night, was reunited with his person today. He went missing after the accident and was found at 6 AM this morning. Both Buddy and his human are OK. Once again, this is why we love working here; you all come together when it’s time to help each other out! You’re an amazing bunch of folks.
