Firefighters from @ICFPD @ElkCreekFire @IndianHillsFire on scene of small wildfire east of North Turkey Creek Road & Hwy 285. Approximately 100×100, smoldering in duff. Difficult access, hand crews are on scene and will return tomorrow to check fire. Cause unknown

Firefighters from @ElkCreekFire @IndianHillsFire @ICFPD continue work on small fire east of Hwy 285 near North Turkey Creek. Fire is not threatening any structures.

Crews from @ElkCreekFire @ICFPD @IndianHillsFire @WestMetroFire gaining access to the Stone Gate fire, strengthening the perimeter and running hose lines. Smoke will be visible throughout the day. Approximately 18 firefighters working the fire line.

Stone Gate fire is located in steep terrain southwest of Mount Lindo. No homes are threatened and no injuries were reported. Smoke may be visible tomorrow as firefighters continue their work

Thanks to firefighters from @IndianHillsFire @ElkCreekFire @ICFPD for work on the Stone Gate fire this afternoon. Fuels include heavy scrub oak, junipers and duff.fire is under control


Access to the fire is difficult and conditions are challenging in steep terrain on the Stone Gate fire. No direct road access and steep hike into the fire. Fire is under control at this time
